Ziptek is reporting on the first 25 patients whose rotator cuff was repaired with the ZipE® with over one year follow-up.
Opioid-dependent and Workers Compensation patients were excluded from the cohort.
The average percent improvement was noted to be 97%. There were no major or minor adverse events or failures. All patients had return of full passive range of motion, and strength testing equaled or exceeded the opposite extremity.
Return to function has been found to be significantly earlier than surgeons’ experience with conventional devices over the last 24-years of experience.
